Rally Madison FC To Host Pre-Season Friendly Against Chicago House AC
Women’s Preseason Match Adds To Two-Day Fan Fest At Breese Stevens Field
MADISON, WI: Rally Madison FC is thrilled to announce the addition of a pre-season match against Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Club, Chicago House AC, on May 15th at Breese Stevens Field.
This historic moment marks the first-ever match for Rally Madison FC and will be a headline feature of the upcoming two-day Grand Reopening of Breese Stevens Field as it celebrates its 100 year anniversary. Day one will include a Fan Fest featuring inflatables, a climbing wall, face painting, and more culminating in the 6:30pm kickoff of Rally Madison FC vs Chicago House AC on May 15th. The two clubs will be the first to compete on the stadium’s brand new turf after a major investment from the city to improve the playing surface over the Spring.
“We’re so excited to face off against Chicago House AC in our first-ever Rally Madison FC match here at Breese Stevens Field,” said Rally and Forward Madison FC General Manager, Kyler Donovan. “It feels fitting to kick off the 100 year anniversary celebration of our stadium with the debut of our brand new women’s team. It’s truly a testament to the ever-evolving history of progress and change of Breese and of Madison.”
Rally’s first-ever opponent, Chicago House AC, has competed in the WPSL since 2024 and has been named the WPSL Lakeshore Conference Organization of the Year both years. They’ve already seen tremendous success with three of their athletes being signed to professional contracts overseas in the last two years. The Club is led by familiar face, Peter Wilt, who helped to launch Forward Madison FC in 2019, and currently stands as Managing Partner, President and CEO of Chicago House AC.
Following the match, fans are invited to enter the pitch for a post-match player meet & greet and autograph session with the Rally Madison FC athletes. The Fan Fest weekend will continue into the following day with more family fun, including ferris wheel rides and the Home Opener of the city’s professional men’s team, Forward Madison FC, as they take on Detroit City FC in the first round of the Prinx Tires USL Cup at 5pm.
