Top-ranked Striker Joins Rally For Season One
MADISON, WI: Rally Madison FC have signed massively successful Forward, Megan Murray, for their inaugural season.
Originally from Glenview, Illinois, Murray has already found incredible success in her young career.
At the high school level she was rated the top Forward in the state of Illinois from 2020-2023 and was rated No.2 in the Midwest region according to Top Drawer Soccer. She led her club team in goals and assists in 2021 and 2022. In 2023 she was a member of the U20 National Team pool.
Following high school, Murray began her collegiate career with the University of Denver in 2024. She was named to the Summit League All-Newcomer Team, made an appearance in every match her freshman year and concluded the season with four goals and five assists.
In the Summer of 2025 she was named to the Philippine Football Federation Women’s National Team and made her senior international debut in a friendly match vs Chinese Taipei.
Murray left Denver and began her sophomore year at Marquette University in the Fall of 2025. She started in all 17 matches played, scoring three goals and tallying five assists on the season.
That same year, Murray found herself back on the international stage. She received her second senior call up to the Philippines Women’s National Team in November for the 35th Annual Southeast Asian Games in Thailand. In December, she played in four matches in the PWNT’s campaign against Malaysia, Thailand and twice against Vietnam, culminating in the Philippines’ first-ever gold medal at the SEA Games.
“I’m super excited to join Rally Madison FC for the inaugural season,” said Murray. “It’s a special opportunity to be part of building something new and representing the Madison community. I’m really looking forward to playing alongside such talented players, challenging myself every day, and continuing to improve my game while helping the team create something special.”
Murray will kick off the inaugural Rally Madison FC season in this week’s pre-season friendly against Chicago House AC on May 15th at Breese Stevens Field. The team will then take on Minnesota Aurora in the Club’s USL W League Home Opener match on May 23rd.
