Rally Madison FC Sign Hometown Midfielder/Striker, Emily Mikkelson, For First Season

Madison-native To Play For RMFC Inaugural Year
MADISON, WI: Rally Madison FC have signed midfielder/striker, Emily Mikkelson, for their inaugural season.
Mikkelson spent her high school career playing for Oregon where she helped her squad become conference champions and reach the state semi-finals in 2021. Oregon then went on to win the State Championship in 2022 and were voted #1 in the nation.
In 2022 Mikkelson kicked off her incredible collegiate career with UW-Parkside where she was a four-year starter, playing in 77 matches for the Rangers. Mikkelson racked up an impressive 18 goals and a conference-leading 22 assists. She picked up First Team All Conference, Second Team All Conference, Second Team All Region and All Tournament Team selections along the way.
“I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to represent my hometown in Rally Madison FC’s inaugural season,” said Mikkelson. “Playing in front of the community that shaped me means everything to me!”
Mikkelson joins the squad ahead of Rally Madison FC taking the pitch for the first time ever in this week’s pre-season friendly against Chicago House AC on May 15th at Breese Stevens Field. The team will then take on Minnesota Aurora in the Club’s USL W League Home Opener match on May 23rd.
